The work is individually moulded
in sand, then cast in solid aluminium
by craftsmen in England
and finished by hand.
 
The sculpture is signed and numbered
by the artist Robin Bark
 and presented in a
bespoke wooden box

This famous sports car won Le Mans 24-hour race in 1955, 56 and 57.
The aerodynamic body is the work of Malcolm Seyer.
The iconic fin was added for the 1955 Le Mans race, to stabilise the car on the Mulsanne Straight.

A limited edition signed by the late Norman Dewis (OBE)
Jaguar Chief Test Driver 1953-1985

Norman Dewis was instrumental in the development of the Jaguar D type.
and was a member of the racing team for the 1955 Le Mans 24hr race,
driving D-type #5.

A brass plaque bearing Norman's signature is fixed to the underside of the sculpture together with a second plaque bearing
my signature and the edition number.




  
    

The work is presented in a bespoke wooden box, signed by Norman Dewis.
