Cast in solid aluminium.
Finished in Nickel, or Sterling Silver
The sculpture is created in clay.
From the clay original, a pattern is taken
to make the sand moulds into which moulten metal will be poured.
The pieces are individually hand-moulded, then cast in solid aluminium by
traditional craftsmen in England.
Robin fettles and finishes each piece by hand before initial copper plating, then
re-works it before the final finish is applied, making each a unique work of
art.
As light plays on the highly relective surface planes, subtle detail is
revealed, evoking a sense of speed and dynamism.
The work is signed and numbered by the artist, Robin Bark and presented in
a bespoke wooden box with a certificate of authenticity.

A limited edition of 10 pieces, finished in Sterling Silver,
is personally signed by Le Mans legend Richard Attwood
who also signs the certificate and presentation box:
